Two military surgeons from the Constanța Emergency Military Hospital are under judicial control for accepting bribes. They allegedly received money and goods from patients for surgical procedures. The first surgeon is accused of receiving daily bribes from 35 individuals, while the second received bribes from eight. Prosecutors conducted searches at their homes and the hospital, finding unaccounted cash. Both surgeons are prohibited from practicing medicine and must not leave Romania without judicial approval during the investigation.
