Two Ukrainian journalists were arrested in Vienna on espionage charges while investigating the fugitive former prosecutor Ruslan Kravcenko. Mihailo Tkaci and cameraman Iaroslav Bondarenko faced accusations of espionage for Ukraine's military intelligence, involvement in a criminal organization, and harming Austria. Tkaci claimed there was no evidence against them and described the situation as a misunderstanding. Following their arrest, Tkaci was released after diplomatic intervention, while Bondarenko remained in custody and was injured during the arrest. The Ukrainian embassy sought clarification from Austrian authorities regarding the circumstances of their detention.
