Doi jucători români de tenis ajung în SUA. Au fost cooptați în echipa Universității Cornell
Two Romanian tennis players, Cezar Papoe and David Carteputredă, have joined Cornell University's men's team for the new season. The team recently won its first Ivy League title since 2017 and qualified for the NCAA tournament. Papoe, who has a family connection to Cornell, aims to establish his own path in the U.S. after a successful junior career. Carteputredă, a 12-time national champion, brings significant experience and is adapting to the faster pace of American collegiate tennis. Both players will be coached by Silviu Tănăsoiu, who emphasizes the need for adjustment to the academic and athletic demands at Cornell.
