Doi foști miniștri din Guvernul Orbán au fost reținuți pentru luare de mită și deturnare de fonduri publice

Two former ministers from Viktor Orbán's government have been detained on suspicion of embezzling public funds and accepting bribes. Balázs Hankó, the former Minister of Culture, and Miklós Seszták, a former Minister of National Development, were arrested shortly after the Hungarian parliament lifted their immunity. Both deny any wrongdoing. Prime Minister Péter Magyar emphasized the importance of these events, stating that Hungary is experiencing a real regime change. The investigations mark a significant step in addressing corruption linked to Orbán's administration, with allegations of misuse of substantial public funds. The National Anti-Corruption Office has also announced new cases to tackle corruption in various sectors.
