Doi antreprenori români preiau benzinăriile Gazprom

The Romanian Competition Authority has approved the acquisition of Gazprom's gas station network by entrepreneurs Iulian Stanciu and Adrian Crețoiu, stating it does not pose serious competition concerns. The decision allows them to gain indirect joint control over NIS Petrol SRL, which operates the gas stations. The transaction is based on a sale agreement between NIS a.d. Novi Sad and Argenta, the latter being jointly controlled by Stanciu and Crețoiu. The authority found no horizontal overlaps in market activities, indicating a vertical integration. The market shares of the involved parties are below the 30% threshold, ensuring no significant competition barriers arise in the Romanian market.
