Documente CNSAS despre Șantierul Naval Tulcea: Lipsuri, dezorganizare și elevi expuși gazelor toxice

The Tulcea Shipyard, designed in the 1970s to support Romania's ocean fishing fleet, faced material shortages, disorganization, and safety issues, as revealed by former Security documents. Reports from 1978-1980 highlighted inadequate training for students on-site, exposure to toxic gases, and insufficient tools for workers. Despite plans for completion in 1980, the shipyard struggled with basic necessities, including a lack of lockers and sanitary facilities. Disciplinary issues among workers, including alcohol consumption during work hours, were also noted. Additionally, safety concerns were raised regarding the storage of materials and the absence of security at the oxygen factory. The launch of the vessel "Putna" in March 1980 encountered complications due to the lack of involvement from the Ocean Fishing Enterprise, risking damage to the ship and port facilities. These documents illustrate the operational failures of a project intended to enhance Romania's industrial development.
