Romania's designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu has proposed a governance program focusing on public-private partnerships (PPPs) to enhance infrastructure and services. The plan includes a budget of 25 million euros over three years for project preparation, covering feasibility studies and financial structuring. A national portfolio of prioritized PPP projects is set to be published by 2027, targeting sectors like health, transport, and education. The Ministry of Finance will assess the fiscal impact of these contracts to prevent hidden debts.
