Doar 29% dintre gospodăriile românești își permit un concediu de o săptămână

In 2025, only 29.4% of households could afford a week-long vacation, an increase from 26.6% in 2024. Additionally, 14.9% attended theater or cinema, up from 12%. The National Institute of Statistics highlights that many households struggle with low disposable income after essential expenses. While 81.2% of households felt they could manage their expenses, only a small percentage could replace old furniture or buy new clothes. Financial constraints led to 48.5% of households unable to pay for housing maintenance on time. Some resorted to savings or loans from friends and family to cover current expenses.
