DNA renunță la software-ul Oxygen Forensics, după acuzații de legături rusești. Și alte forțe de poliție europene iau aceeași măsură

Several European law enforcement agencies, including Romania's DNA, are halting the use of Oxygen Forensics due to concerns over its Russian ownership. The Romanian anti-corruption agency has begun terminating its contract with the software used for mobile data extraction. Other countries, like Latvia and the UK, are also reviewing their use of the technology. Investigations revealed that Oxygen, based in Virginia, is allegedly controlled by Russian owners, raising fears about data security. Political pressure is mounting for European governments to stop using Oxygen and investigate potential data exposure to Russia. The European Commission has stated that Oxygen is not part of any EU-supported consortium, despite its previous claims of collaboration.
