The DNA Oradea has indicted Dorel Dume, former director of ABA Crișuri, for abuse of office, alleging he orchestrated inflated purchases from companies he controlled. The investigation, initiated after a 2019 article by BIHOREANUL, revealed Dume's scheme caused over 1.1 million lei in damages to public institutions. Alongside Dume, Valerică Anichitoaie, head of ABA Crișuri's Financial Department, faces charges for complicity. Dume allegedly manipulated procurement processes to benefit his firms, with some goods never delivered. The case has led to asset seizures to recover damages, and the indictment has been sent to the Bihor Tribunal.
