DNA face 96 de percheziții într-un dosar de corupție la Vama Halmeu
DNA prosecutors are conducting 96 house searches across six counties related to corruption suspicions involving border police and customs officials. The investigation focuses on alleged offenses committed between 2025 and 2026 at the Halmeu Border Crossing in Satu Mare. Authorities suspect that some border police and customs workers accepted bribes for performing their duties. The searches are taking place in Satu Mare, Bihor, Sălaj, Maramureș, Cluj, and Mureș, targeting two public institutions and private residences. The operation is supported by the Anti-Corruption Directorate and local police forces.
