DNA Bacău anchetează achiziția stațiilor de încărcare pentru autobuzele electrice ale Primăriei conduse de Lucian Stanciu-Viziteu (USR)

Anti-corruption prosecutors are investigating the procurement of charging stations for Bacău's electric fleet, funded by EU money through PNRR. There are suspicions that the delivered equipment does not match the technical offer that won the tender. The investigation, opened by the National Anti-Corruption Directorate, focuses on the municipal procurement process. The contract, worth 91.6 million lei, includes 24 electric buses and 29 slow charging stations. The Bacău City Hall confirmed changes in the equipment, claiming the new stations have superior technical characteristics. The project has faced delays, with electric buses remaining unused due to inadequate charging infrastructure. This is not the first anti-corruption case related to EU funds in Bacău, as another case involves over 6.3 million lei in fraudulent claims for public bicycle parking projects.
