The National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) has announced the indictment of former state secretary Adrian Pintea and ANF director Romeo Șoldea for abuse of office. Pintea allegedly instigated Șoldea to unlawfully transfer an acquaintance to a public position, violating legal provisions. The transfer was executed without the required public announcement, and the individual lacked the necessary qualifications for the role. This led to a financial loss for the Ministry of Agriculture, amounting to 148,542 lei. The case has been sent to the Bucharest Tribunal for trial.
