DN73 Brașov–Pitești, modernizat după 15 ani de șantier. Lucrările pe cei 74 km au ajuns la 639.000.000 de lei • Newsweek România
The modernization of DN73, a key road between Brașov and Pitești, is nearing completion after 15 years of work, costing approximately 639 million lei. Major repairs have been made to the 74 km stretch, improving conditions for drivers and tourists. The project faced delays since its inception in 2011, with a contract being terminated after nine years. In 2024, the project was divided into two lots to expedite completion. The first lot connects Câmpulung Muscel to Fundata, while the second links Fundata to Brașov. New infrastructure, including seven bridges and 89 culverts, has been constructed to enhance drainage and protect the road. The road is vital for tourism in central Romania, facilitating access to popular destinations.
