DN AGRAR Group, Europe's largest milk producer, has signed a binding offer to acquire Panorganic Vitavit, a salad producer in Arad, for €750,000. This acquisition marks DN AGRAR's expansion into horticulture, as Panorganic operates 14 hectares of land and a one-hectare glass greenhouse. The transaction is expected to finalize soon, pending legal documentation and usual conditions. DN AGRAR plans to increase salad production from 1.2 million to 1.6-2 million annually and expand the greenhouse by 1-2 hectares, depending on market conditions. Panorganic's assets are valued at approximately €3 million, and the company has been operating since 2022 with Global G.A.P. certification, allowing sales in major retail chains.
