The modernization and consolidation of DN 73 Pitești – Brașov is nearing completion, with final inspections upcoming for Lot 1 and main works finished for Lot 2. The remaining task on Lot 2 is to apply the final road markings, which will be done when weather conditions allow. Initial contracts for the project began in 2011 but faced delays, leading to a restructuring of the project in 2024 into two lots. The completion of the bridge in Dragoslavele was delayed due to the relocation of a gas pipeline. Current road markings are safe but differ from the contract specifications, and their replacement is not urgent.
