DN 29D Botoșani–Vama Stânca s-a surpat pe fondul unei alunecări de teren

A section of the national road DN 29D, connecting Botoșani and Vama Stânca, has collapsed due to land slides. This occurred near a viaduct in Drislea, less than three years after the road was rehabilitated. The Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges (DRDP) Iași confirmed that the road is under warranty, and the contractor will cover the repair costs. The rehabilitation project cost over 260 million lei. Additionally, in spring 2025, it was reported that 370 metal support poles for snow nets were stolen from the same road.
