Dispare taxa de pod peste Dunăre: ”Și la Fetești, și la Vadu Oii”

The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, announced the elimination of the bridge toll over the Danube starting October 1, as part of the new TollRo system. This system will charge trucks based on their usage and pollution levels, aligning with practices in 24 other EU countries. The change aims to simplify the tax structure and improve efficiency within the transport sector. The removal of the toll is expected to allow for better allocation of resources within the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR). The initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize Romania's transport system and is funded by European resources.
