Sorin Grindeanu, the party leader, stated that participation depends on two key conditions: a government program reflecting social-democratic priorities and a transparent parliamentary majority. The party rejects a temporary majority solely for cabinet approval, insisting on active involvement in governance. Additionally, PSD has outlined 12 economic priorities, including no new taxes in 2027 and pension indexing. Niculescu proposed a six-month political agreement to facilitate reforms, while Grindeanu stressed the importance of genuine party collaboration in governance.
