Directorul general al OMV Petrom nu mai vrea un nou mandat / Pleacă din funcție când este așteptată începerea producției de gaze din Marea Neagră
Christina Verchere, CEO of OMV Petrom, announced she will not seek a new term, with her current mandate ending in April 2027. Her departure comes as the company prepares for gas production from the Neptun Deep project in the Black Sea, expected to start in early 2027. Verchere has led the company since 2018 and has a background in BP, overseeing significant operations globally. The new leadership will be determined by the Supervisory Board, but no successor has been named yet. Neptun Deep is crucial for Romania's gas supply, with an estimated 100 billion cubic meters of recoverable gas and a total investment of around 4 billion euros.
