Danone has appointed Konrad Kowalik as Managing Director for Central Europe starting July 2026, succeeding Adrian Pascu. Kowalik will oversee operations in Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia from Bucharest, focusing on sustainable growth and strengthening partnerships. With over 20 years of experience in the consumer goods industry, he has held various leadership roles within Danone, including Country Manager for the Baltic States. Kowalik expressed enthusiasm for the new role, highlighting the region's growth potential. Earlier this year, Danone Romania invested 10 million euros in modernizing its Bucharest factory, which supports exports to 17 countries and processes over 65,000 tons of milk annually.
