The flow is expected to drop to approximately 1,450 cubic meters per second by August 7, which poses risks for the plant's operation. Measures include redirecting water flow and dredging operations to ensure the plant's functionality. Recent rainfall in Austria may help increase river levels, but effects will not be felt in Cernavodă for about two weeks. The current flow is about 25% lower than last year, and further water supply restrictions are anticipated across various regions in Romania.
