Dinel Miruță se laudă cu „meritul Guvernului” pentru menținerea ratingului de țară al agenției S&P
Radu Dinel Miruță, the dismissed Minister of Defense and Transport, praised the decision of Standard & Poor’s to maintain Romania's sovereign rating at BBB-/A-3. He attributed this outcome to the government's fiscal responsibility measures over the past year. Miruță emphasized the importance of sustainable economic policies and criticized electoral benefits that could harm long-term development. He noted that while the rating reflects progress, any significant deterioration in public finances could lead to a downgrade. S&P's assessment also highlighted the need for continued fiscal adjustment and the risks posed by external pressures, particularly in the energy market.
