Traders report that prices for Australian wheat are around $315-330 per ton, while Argentine wheat is priced at $310-315 per ton, compared to $260-280 for Black Sea wheat. The Chicago wheat futures have surged by about 35% since late June, driven by supply shortages from the Black Sea region. Concerns are growing that some of the wheat reserved for delivery may not reach buyers due to ongoing transport delays.
