Dimian inaugurează noul an școlar fără manuale

Ninth-grade students start the school year without new textbooks, despite being the first generation to follow the revised curriculum. Education Minister Mihai Dimian announced that digital versions should be available in about three weeks, while printed textbooks may arrive by mid-October if no challenges arise. The delay is attributed to procurement and evaluation procedures, with the evaluation of textbooks completed around mid-August. Teachers will initially work without the new printed materials, using old textbooks where applicable, as the first weeks focus on reviewing previous material and assessing students' levels.
