DIICOT has expanded the investigation into the Nordis group, following 50 new complaints from 109 victims, with additional damages exceeding 42 million lei and 14 million euros. The inquiry targets the group's administrators and four companies for serious fraud. This extension is part of an ongoing investigation into organized crime, embezzlement, money laundering, tax evasion, and fraud. Previously, in October 2025, the investigation had already seen an increase in complaints, raising the total damages to approximately 75 million euros. The Nordis case is notable for its connections to PSD leaders, including Marcel Ciolacu and Sorin Grindeanu.
