DIICOT cere arest la domiciliu pentru vicepreședintele USR Dâmbovița

Alexandru Munteanu, vicepreședinte USR Dâmbovița, was detained by DIICOT for violating EU sanctions against Belarus. He and commercial director Evgenii Poliakov are accused of facilitating the sale of industrial equipment to a sanctioned entity in Belarus. Munteanu allegedly knew about the export ban but continued production, believing the situation would change. Prosecutors have requested house arrest for both individuals after conducting multiple searches related to the investigation.
