DIICOT a reţinut un hacker din România, care face parte din gruparea "KillSec". Cum funcţiona reţeaua

A 24-year-old man has been arrested by DIICOT for being part of the hacker group "KillSec," involved in around 1,000 cyberattacks globally. The operation, which included international judicial authorities, revealed that the group engaged in illegal access to computer systems and extortion through data theft. They created a technical infrastructure for unauthorized data transfer and used encrypted communication to conceal their identities. The investigation, supported by Europol and private cybersecurity firms, led to multiple raids in Romania and other countries, resulting in the seizure of data storage devices. The authorities have taken control of the "KillSec" website and secured over 110 terabytes of data.
