The first fines for NIS II have emerged, highlighting the unpreparedness of many Romanian companies. Over 200 entrepreneurs and 30 speakers gathered in Suceava for the "Intelligent Money Academy" event, organized by Antena 3 CNN and IMM Romania. Key discussions emphasized the importance of financial education, digitalization, and rapid adaptation for business growth. Ieronim Ștefan from the Financial Studies Institute introduced a free program aimed at enhancing financial inclusion for entrepreneurs. Costin Băcilă from Maguay stressed the urgency of cybersecurity compliance with NIS II regulations, as many companies lag behind. Successful experiences shared by industry leaders underscored the need for supportive banking partnerships to foster innovation among young entrepreneurs.
