Diferențe dramatice de costuri între săraci și bogați în 2050
A recent MIT study indicates that access to food, water, and energy will vary significantly by region and income by 2050. Low-income individuals may spend up to 50% of their income on food, while high-income individuals could spend only 5%. The research highlights the financial insecurity faced by low-income groups and emphasizes the need for policymakers to consider various factors affecting resource security. The study utilized a global change analysis model to simulate over 3,700 scenarios, revealing significant regional disparities in resource security. For instance, food insecurity may peak in Sub-Saharan Africa, while energy insecurity could affect low-income residents in parts of Asia and Eastern Europe. The findings aim to inform future policy decisions regarding resource distribution.
