Diehl Aviation produce componente aeronautice la Craiova

Diehl Aviation has opened a new factory in Craiova, Romania, focusing on aircraft component production. The investment aims to support major aircraft manufacturers and expand production capacity in Europe. Production will start in September, with initial deliveries expected by late 2026 or early 2027 after certification. The factory will initially produce insulation blankets and later expand to more complex manufacturing processes. Diehl Aviation plans to grow its workforce from 90 to 500 employees in the medium term, emphasizing operational excellence and collaboration with existing facilities.
