Diana Tușa: „România va înființa o Agenție pentru protecția victimelor infracțiunilor”
PSD Deputy Diana Tușa announced plans for a new Agency for Victim Protection to centralize support services currently scattered across various institutions. This initiative aims to enhance assistance, protection, and rehabilitation for crime victims, addressing past shortcomings in state support. The agency will consolidate responsibilities and personnel, improving service delivery and coordination. Funding will follow the principle "money follows the victim," utilizing confiscated assets to support victims. Discussions at the Ministry of Justice also include reforms in probation and penitentiary services, focusing on improving service quality rather than merely cutting administrative costs. Tușa emphasizes the need for effective protection and assistance for victims.
