Minister Diana Buzoianu criticized this oversight, highlighting the superficiality of the decision. She noted that the prefect of Ilfov had previously announced a meeting to assess the alert status but only communicated the formation of the working group. Buzoianu expressed concern over local authorities' handling of illegal waste burning, questioning their commitment to combating waste mafia. She had previously called for an urgent joint meeting to declare a state of alert regarding illegal waste burning, emphasizing the need for comprehensive action.
