Diana Buzoianu: Radarul Balastierelor este finalizat în proporție de 95%

The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, presented the achievements of her first 16 months in office, announcing new measures for controlling mineral aggregate exploitation and illegal logging. The Radarul Balastierelor application is nearly complete and will enhance monitoring of aggregate transport. Additionally, the reorganization of the National Administration "Apele Române" is underway, aiming to establish a National Water Inspection. Buzoianu also discussed the approved budget for Romsilva, which includes funds for GPS devices and body cameras for forest rangers. Measures to tighten hunting quotas and protect remarkable trees were also highlighted, alongside updates to the SUMAL application for wood transport monitoring.
