Diana Buzoianu has warned that the situation at the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant has worsened, with new estimates indicating a more pessimistic outlook. The initial prediction of nine days of operation after increasing the Danube's flow is no longer valid due to unforeseen obstacles. Efforts to raise water levels have been complicated by sediment and currents, affecting water flow to the plant. The current flow of the Danube is at a historic low, and restrictions are in place for the nuclear facility, with further limitations imminent.
