Interim Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, filed a complaint against Marian Artimon, leader of the Metrorex Union, for his remarks about the number of women in leadership roles. Buzoianu criticized Artimon's comments as discriminatory, emphasizing the impact of his public position on women's rights. She called for his resignation, arguing that his views could affect decision-making for many women in Bucharest. Buzoianu also condemned the PSD party for not distancing itself from Artimon's statements. Artimon had previously stated that there are too many women making decisions for the metro, suggesting a preference for technical over economic leadership.
