Dialogul dintre jandarmi și bărbatul căruia i-a fost confiscat din nou canabisul medicinal, după ce instanța i l-a restituit. Era într-un taxi cu avocații
Giancarlo Cristea, a Romanian living in the UK, had his medicinal cannabis confiscated again by gendarmes shortly after it was returned to him by a court ruling. Despite having the necessary legal documents, he was stopped in a taxi with his lawyers and informed that possession of cannabis is illegal in Romania, even though it was just returned to him. Cristea expressed disbelief at the situation, stating he relies on cannabis for a serious medical condition. His lawyer criticized the actions of the authorities as absurd and reminiscent of a Kafkaesque scenario, questioning how it could be illegal to possess something that was legally returned. Cristea fears he will be without his treatment again, having previously waited 818 days for its return.
