The Galați County Council has completed a project to modernize the Pathology Service at the Emergency Clinical Hospital, investing over 3.2 million lei in advanced medical equipment. This includes a molecular diagnostic system and state-of-the-art microscopes, enhancing cancer diagnosis speed and accuracy. The new tools allow for quicker identification of tumor types and biological changes, crucial for tailored treatments. Additionally, some diagnoses can now be made during surgeries, aiding medical teams in decision-making. This project, funded by European resources, aims to improve healthcare quality for the local population.
