Liebrecht & wood has begun construction on 89 new homes in the second phase of the Liziera de Lac project, where athlete David Popovici resides. The first homes are expected to be delivered by Q3 2027, with a long-term plan for 2,400 homes accommodating 10,000 residents. Popovici is the project's ambassador and has a house there, which includes a semi-Olympic pool named after him. The first phase saw an investment of 43 million euros for 94 villas, with over 200 residents already living there. An additional investment of 70 million euros is planned for the remaining authorized villas, with prices starting at 159,000 euros plus VAT. The Liziera de Lac project, launched in 2020, is located southeast of Bucharest, near Lake Tătaru, and is 15 minutes from the Anghel Saligny metro station.
