In Zundert, Netherlands, a unique flower parade called Bloemencorso takes place annually, showcasing massive floral sculptures created by local communities. This event, held on the first Sunday of September, features around eight million dahlias and involves intense competition among 20 neighborhoods. The parade's floats, reaching heights of nearly nine meters, are manually pushed by volunteers, emphasizing community involvement. The tradition dates back to 1936 and has evolved significantly over the years. After the parade, the floral creations are dismantled just days later, highlighting their ephemeral nature. Zundert is also notable as the birthplace of Vincent van Gogh, with local attractions celebrating his legacy.
