Destinația din Grecia preferată de români își schimbă turiștii. Rușii au dispărut, iar europenii se înghesuie acum pe plajele sale spectaculoase
Halkidiki, a popular Greek vacation spot for Romanians, is seeing a shift in its tourist demographic. Russian visitors have significantly decreased, replaced by an influx of tourists from Western Europe, including the UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Italy. Despite recent wildfires, the tourist season remains strong, with over a million visitors in 2025. Although stays are shorter, tourists are spending more during their visits. The ongoing war in Ukraine and related sanctions have impacted Russian tourism, leading many to choose Turkey instead. Halkidiki continues to attract visitors from neighboring countries and increasingly from Western Europe, drawn by its stunning beaches and clear waters.
