Despăgubit după ce avionul a întârziat 5 ore. Compania i-a răspuns doar după ce a intervenit ANAF

Many Romanian travelers faced significant delays and issues with flight compensations this summer. Complaints to consumer protection authorities have surged, nearly doubling from last year. Some passengers, like Cosmin and Paula, are still waiting for their compensation, while others, like Petru, managed to receive theirs only after involving the consumer protection agency. European legislation mandates airlines to compensate passengers for delays of three hours or more, with amounts ranging from 250 to 600 euros depending on flight distance. Many are turning to specialized companies for assistance, although these firms charge a commission on recovered amounts. The European Consumer Centre in Romania has also helped recover significant sums for travelers.
