Despăgubiri de până la 333 lei/ha pentru seceta din 2025

The Romanian government has announced financial support for corn and sunflower farmers affected by drought in 2025, offering up to 333 lei per hectare. This decision, made on September 18, 2026, aims to assist producers whose crops were severely impacted. The total funding for this support scheme amounts to 155.36 million lei, with half coming from European funds. Payments will be processed by the APIA and are expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The aid is available for affected areas with damage ranging from 30% to 100%.
