Deși l-a jucat pe „Spider-Noir”, Nicolas Cage critică filmele Marvel. Ce spune „cu dragoste” despre actorii de peste 50 de ani „în costume ridicole”

Nicolas Cage criticized the Marvel Cinematic Universe, calling it a well-funded spectacle, while expressing concern for older actors in ridiculous costumes. He shared his thoughts at a fan convention in Texas, comparing the MCU to glorified wrestling. Cage, who played Spider-Noir, emphasized his aesthetic approach to the character, inspired by classic actors. Other filmmakers, including Martin Scorsese and Francis Ford Coppola, have also voiced skepticism about Marvel films, labeling them as unoriginal and lacking artistic value. Cage is set to star in an upcoming biopic about John Madden.
