Four men were detained for illegally burying waste from car dismantling and electrical equipment. The waste was hidden in a large pit behind a grain storage facility. Police conducted five searches in connection with the case, which is under the supervision of the Costești Court Prosecutor's Office. An investigation revealed that a 46-year-old man coordinated the illegal disposal of mixed waste. Two others were involved in transporting the waste over several days. The waste was stored outside authorized areas, violating waste management laws. The detained individuals will be presented to the prosecutor with proposals for preventive measures.
