Descoperirile unui nou studiu schimbă tot ce se știa până acum. Ce legătură există între jogging și artrită

A recent study involving nearly 18,000 osteoarthritis patients found that those who continued high-impact exercises like jogging and tennis were less likely to need joint replacements. Researchers suggest that maintaining such activities may provide physical, mental, and social benefits, challenging the common belief that individuals with osteoarthritis should only engage in low-impact exercises. The study indicated that participants who performed high-impact activities had a 36% to 48% lower chance of requiring hip replacements compared to those who engaged in lower-impact exercises. However, the findings show an association rather than a definitive cause-and-effect relationship, as less severe cases of osteoarthritis may allow for continued high-impact exercise.
