During restoration work at the 'Saint Nicholas' Church in Brașov, ancient water drainage systems dating back 300 years were discovered. The ongoing restoration includes both interior and exterior work, addressing significant moisture issues in the walls. Archaeological excavations are also taking place in the southern area of the church. The restoration aims to consolidate the monument and restore its paintings, with a total project value of over 24 million lei, funded by the Central Region Program 2021-2027.
