Descoperire spectaculoasă pe malul Dunării: oamenii au găsit fosile de mamut

A historic drop in the Danube's water level has sparked a fossil frenzy in Bulgaria, with volunteers searching for mammoth remains along the riverbanks. The Regional History Museum in Ruse organized this initiative, attracting over 30 participants, including children and adults. The low water levels revealed mammoth bones, with the first discovery being a mammal tooth. Curator Krassimir Kirov noted the unique nature of these findings and reported receiving numerous calls about additional discoveries. Volunteers are trained in safety and fossil identification, making this a rare opportunity to connect with history amidst climate change concerns.
