Archaeologists in Pompeii revealed a partially reconstructed vaulted ceiling adorned with Greek mythology frescoes from a banquet hall. This presentation occurred during an international workshop focused on new discoveries and restoration efforts at the archaeological site. The innovative reconstruction method involved creating a curved support structure to accurately replicate the original ceiling shape. As new fresco fragments are uncovered, they will be integrated into the design. The main theme of the artwork features Dionysus and Ariadne, a well-known myth from ancient Greece.
