Descoperire periculoasă în Salonic. Ce a fost găsit pe fundul mării în timpul unui studiu? • Newsweek România

A significant discovery of World War II munitions was made in the port of Thessaloniki, including hundreds of shells and over 80 bombs weighing more than 50 kg each. These munitions were found during a magnetic inspection of the seabed, as part of planned port expansion. German soldiers reportedly discarded these bombs during their hasty retreat in 1944. Construction on the port's new dock is set to be completed by March 2027, necessitating the removal of these dangerous items beforehand. Local authorities have requested government assistance for further studies and safe disposal of the munitions.
